“HARMONY” is to be valued, and an avoidance of wanton opposition　to be honored.
This is the proverb that Japanese basic thought to respect peace from ancient times was expressed.
A Japanese word called　“ＷＡ”means harmony. The concept of the proverb was applied in Japanese daily life all, then the Japanese history was formed.
And the word called WAHOO is the right word to express all which was formed by the Japanese traditional way of thinking. Above all, the Japanese food is representative of WAHOO. We Japanese always flexibly mixed marine products and mountain products, foreign products and Japanese traditional products  with Omotenashi no kokoro (mind which makes people comfortable with heart and soul) ,
then built such a unique food culture in each of four seasons.
